THRIVE celebrates Yorkshire Day

On 1 August 2018 Project Thrive was present at the Yorkshire Day celebrations organised by the British Printing Industries Federation (BPIF) and Creative Digital Industries (a special interest group of the BPIF).

Around a hundred guests from the industry attended the lunchtime event and heard speeches from the Master of the Stationers Company and former MP John Watson. The latter presented an award for industry’s the young person of the year - the Victor Watson Award - to Ismail Mulla, business reporter from the Yorkshire Post (see here in the ptoto with Greg Wright, deputy business editor (centre) and Mike Hopkins (left) the UK representative on the Thrive project.

During the event a number of attendees asked about the project and were interested to learn of its aims and future uses.
