The project Thrive! Entrepreneurial skills as solid base for a future in the Creative Industry has started! 

On this page you can follow the ongoing process and all the presentations are published here.
The project started with a first conference on the first of December in Amstelveen, The Netherlands.

The main goals of the Project Thrive! is to develop research on developments in company profiles and entrepreneurial skills, learning material, diagnostic scan in the creative industry. The educational activities will be tailored to the needs of students in the creative sector, educational institutes and employees of companies in the sector.

 

Period 1 till February 2017

The two days of the Kick off partner meeting were spent on workshops about presentation & discussion scope project and creative companies incl. definition ‘Creative Industries’ in Thrive in the sector, developments in multimedia in the school, entrepreneurial skills and projectmanagement and administrative tasks.

Period 1 February- August 2017

Central theme in the second phase of period 1 is the research in the different countries.
The two days of the partnermeeting (the 11th and 12th of May 2017 in Brighouse, United Kingdom) were focussed:
  • The Pyramid of Change
  • Awareness scan / game entrepreneurial skills
  • Desk research report "How future proof is the creative industry?"
  • Diagnostic self-assessment (scanner) 'Gap Analysis': Content & tool
  • Presentation on report "Devo Digital" by IPPR (research organisation), about the skills gap in the north of the UK and how to deal with it.

Thrive Diagnostic scan

 

Period 1 August-November 2017

Central theme in the third phase of period 1 is the research executed by the Bergische Universitat Wuppertal (BUW). The two days of the partnermeeting (the 23th and 24th of November 2017 in Wuppertal , Germany were focussed on:
  • Diagnostic self-assessment (scanner) 'Gap Analysis': Content & tool
  • Finalizing the Desk research report "How future proof is the creative industry?"
  • The research on company profiles and entrepreneurial competences
  • Awareness scan / game entrepreneurial skills.

The research of the BUW on company profiles and competences has started. The intermediate results were subject of discussion. In an extra meeting in January 2018 the draft-report will be finalized and published.

Period 1 November 2017-February 2018

Central theme in the fourth phase of period 1 is the research executed by the Bergische Universitat Wuppertal (BUW). The two days of the partnermeeting (the 22th and 23th of January 2018 in Schiphol-Rijk, The Netherlands were focussed on:
  • Finalizing the Desk research report "How future proof is the creative industry?"
  • The research on company profiles and entrepreneurial competences

The research of the BUW on company profiles and competences is still running. The intermediate results were subject of discussion. After the extra meeting in January 2018 the draft-report will be finalized and published.
